Over the years, we’ve found many and various interesting goodies on our favourite stars, but never looked at the internet as a home for websites on them. So, included in the usual list are just a few recently spotted websites. (Although I like spotted websites, I make no claims for any of them, so please make up your own mind). If you are aware of any others, please let me know so we can share them.

For those of you who have contributed to the Peter Sellers Kickstarter project to restore three lost Sellers shorts, restoration maestro Tony Watts has provided the following update.
All of the following are subject to contracts being signed.
1. The restoration of all three Sellers shorts will be undertaken by a UK company.
2. The time frame is spring next year, subject to contracts and Covid.
3. The Festival will be the Southend film festival next year, subject to contract.
I am committed to finishing the restoration on behalf of Dimwittie films and getting these wonderful examples of Mr sellers comic genius out to his fans
and the wider audiences.
I appreciate your patience and contribution to the funding process. We are almost there.

Spike offers lucid, eloquent opinions on patriotism, pornography, religion, war and his own problems. Bernard Braden’s persuasive style teases out a depth of thinking that few in 1967 would have credited Milligan with. This is the BFI site and their catalogue of ‘free-to-watch’ films is definitely worth a ponder. Not much Goon content though – player.bfi.org.uk
BBC Archive – On This Day 1970: “It’s like watching somebody die before their time,” Spike Milligan lamented the neglect of St Albans in Hampton.
