The Others

More people who have played an important part in the history of the Goons.

Norma Farnes (1934–2019)
In 1966, Norma Farnes became the latest in a string of secretaries to Spike Milligan. Dealing with Spike had been too much for the others, but Norma persevered through his mood swings, rages and sulks, and went on to be his PA, manager, agent and friend for the rest of his life. Not only that, as Associated London Scripts developed with Eric Sykes, Johnny Speight and Galton & Simpson, she ran that too. Norma wrote and edited a number of books about Spike Milligan and the Goons.
