The Vintage Goons series shows were recorded on the same evenings as series 8 shows. They were re-recordings of scripts from series 4, for Transcription Services to sell overseas. The recordings weren’t intended for UK broadcasts, though all but one eventually were.
GSPS members can access the Encyclopædia Goonicus, which has a much more extensive listing of the shows. It includes background information, technical details, scripts, and, of course, lower quality recordings of all the shows which are available. It also incorporates many notes from the Annotated Goon Show, courtesy of Paul Winalski.
