The Goon Show
A story about a comedy sketch or a dance, written by Eric Sykes and first performed on the Harry Secombe TV Show in 1955. It’s good to see it being danced. It is still danced because it’s old enough to be considered as ‘traditional’ and also, there aren’t many Morris dances for just three people. For more information see issue 167, March 2020, p25.

A kind chap, Paul Bones, shared this on Facebook for everybody: ‘To mark the 75th Anniversary of The Goon Show, Irish broadcaster RTE featured extracts of an interview with Spike Milligan in their programme: The History Show.’ It’s available here and well worth listening to.
